In our recent class, we worked on some important concepts in polynomial operations.

  • Polynomial addition: Ayaan practiced combining like terms in polynomial expressions.
  • Polynomial subtraction: We began exploring how to subtract polynomials, which Ayaan found a bit tricky.
  • Handling negative signs: Ayaan worked on understanding how to manage negative signs in equations.

We never record video. Class transcripts are deleted within 30 days.

A note from the founders

We built the platform we wanted for our own two boys.

We tried the big tutoring platforms. A teacher was assigned to us, then replaced. Good teachers left because they were paid a fraction of the fee. And every course had to finish on time, whether or not our boys understood it.

So we built GlowGrades the other way round. You choose the teacher. The teacher is paid fairly and stays. Every class connects to the next, so nothing is rushed and nothing is lost.

Our boys learn here today. Ayaan has Science with Ms. Lipi and Math with Ms. Rashi, and Ivaan has Math with Ms. Rashi.

Every child deserves one teacher who truly knows them. That is what we are building.

Questions parents ask

The short answers.

Is every class really 1-on-1?

Yes. One teacher and one child, live on video, for the whole class.

Which ages and subjects do you teach?

Ages 5 to 18, Kindergarten to Grade 12. Math, Science, Coding and AI, and some teachers also teach English and other subjects.

What time are classes?

Whatever suits you and the teacher. Most families book weekday evenings after school, and weekends work too. Times are always shown in your own time zone.

What does it cost?

Each teacher sets a price on their profile. Most classes are $10 to $15. You pay from a family wallet after each class, and a 5% top-up fee is the only fee we add.

What if we miss a class?

Nobody pays for a class that didn't happen, and there's no penalty. Just agree a new time with the teacher.

Can we change teachers?

Any time. There's no contract and no lock-in. Choose another teacher and book with them.

Do we need to install anything?

No. Classes open in your web browser. Our app for iPhone, iPad and Android is there if you want it.
